The Problem

Rwanda’s courier industry still relies heavily on manual and paper-based processes, making it difficult for clients and courier businesses to track shipments, communicate efficiently, and manage deliveries in real time. Limited visibility, address errors, delivery delays, and the lack of reliable digital tools can reduce operational efficiency and customer trust, particularly for small and growing courier businesses.

The Solution

CourierLink is a cross-platform digital logistics ecosystem that modernizes courier operations by connecting clients, drivers, and vetted transport providers through a unified web and mobile platform.

The system replaces fragmented manual processes with digital tools for:

• Real-time GPS shipment tracking
• Instant shipment scan updates
• Delivery status monitoring
• Client-driver communication
• Digital shipment management
• Courier business visibility

By providing end-to-end visibility from dispatch to arrival, CourierLink improves transparency, reduces delivery delays and address errors, and makes package delivery more efficient, accessible, and trustworthy while supporting the growth of Rwanda’s SME and logistics ecosystem.

My Role

My contribution focused on feature integration, working on integrating and connecting new functionality into the existing CourierLink platform.

I was responsible for:

• Integrating new platform features
• Connecting features with existing application workflows
• Ensuring seamless interaction between integrated components
• Testing and validating feature functionality
• Resolving integration issues and compatibility problems
• Improving the overall functionality and user experience of the platform
